I had a rough day today but I still had good things happen today so here goes my Top 5 this Friday!
1. It's Friday! HOORAY!!! We made it through another week!
2. The Morning Show on KLJC 88.5 FM radio in Kansas City made me smile because it is World Smile Day! Made me remember to smile today more!
3. I switched shifts at work today so I got home by 5! Since I'm tired that means we are all home and life is good again.
4. Dan went and picked up a Rotisserie Chicken at the store tonight and a few other things so Dinner really was a breeze and Janea made French Fries in the oven so I really didn't have to cook! LOVE THAT!
5. Baby Jayden is starting to eat solid foods and really enjoyed his dinner of Rice cereal and Carrots...he totally ate a lot and I am hoping he sleeps good tonight!

Top 5 on Friday
1. I have 3 great kids who make me smile, laugh and love. I'm thankful for a little boy who will stop and fold his hands to pray for mommy before he goes to school!
2. Great friends who are an encouragement.
3. A husband who works so hard to support the family even when he isn't feeling really good...thankful he has a 3 day weekend to continue to feel better.
4. The growth process of waiting for places to call and offer or not offer jobs...I'm not great at waiting.
5. That we have a roof over our heads, food in our bellies and air conditioning in our home...there are a lot of people not as fortunate as we are.

5 Things...Senses Edition
Right now I am...
1. Smelling the oatmeal cooking in my rice cooker! I love cooking oatmeal this way!
2. Hearing my husband on the treadmill downstairs, my click clack keyboard, and my kids in the other rooms.
3. Seeing...the dishes that need to be done...I must load the dishwasher tonight.
4. Feeling...the little baby in my womb do back flips and somersaults...seriously this kid can move.
5. Tasting...well, not this minute but in just a few I will be enjoying a big bowl of hot oatmeal covered in Raw Brown Sugar....it's so good...and just what I wanted for dinner tonight!

Top 5 Today
1. My favorite school lunch! Cheesy Tator Franks...a hotdog split in half with mashed potatoes and cheese on top...so good..I think I ate 4(don't tell the cook)
2. No traffic coming to or going from work...and I didn't have to stop for red lights...major blessing this morning since I was running late!
3. MID WEEK of Spirit Week! We had fun for the first 3 and my favorite day is tomorrow!
4. Penny Wars...most of my kids brought pennies today! Hopefully we can pull out a win!
5. Sunshine and blue skies...still cold but at least it's not gray today!

Top 5 for Friday
It's been awhile since I made a Top 5 so here goes for today!
1. The weather has been gorgeous all week. Not too hot or too cold. May be a good evening to go to the park.
2. FRIDAY!!! My favorite day of the week!
3. No homework tonight for the kiddos...we all get a night off!
4. Dan is home! Yee-haw for the whole family being home together!
5. Can stay up later know I can sleep in in the morning...wahoo!

Top 5 on Tuesday
1. Good Progress was made as I got to spend quality time on my room. It's starting to come together! WAHOO!
2. Good Deals! Got the fabric for my palm tree leaves...next step put it all together...feeling a little bit nervous about this one!
3. Good Friends! My buddy Katy was in town and came over and saw me for awhile! Love catching up with a good friend!
4. Good lights...the light that is giving us fits in the kitchen is working tonight! Praise God for little things...and light!
5. Good Time with the boy...Jaron and I went outside to play frisbee...the boy is really good...mom not so much but it was good quality one on one time with my little man!

1. Got off work when I was supposed too! HOORAY!!! So I worked only 6 hours instead of 8!
2. VBS all week for the kiddos...lots of time to work on stuff at home!
3. Date night with Dan...out for dinner together, lots of time to talk and just hangout...yummy food too!
4. US Toy shopping for School. Dan and I had a lot of fun scouring every aisle and getting some additional things for my classroom.
5. It's Friday...tomorrow's Saturday!

Top 5 today!
1. Only 4 more days of work then I am off for a week!
2. Swimming pool in the neighborhood, on a hot day it felt really good to swim and hang out with my kids!
3. Volleyball with 3 friends...we played in the very hot and had a good time!
4. Tropical Sno....Hawaiian Shaved Ice...the perfect end to a hot volleyball match!
5. Long showers after getting hot sweaty and dirty! Love to be clean...then crawl in bed!

1. Summer Camp started and I survived! It's not going to be terrible.!(Not that I really thought it was)
2. Volleyball...you know my favorite hitting sport!
3. 93 degrees and we have a pool very close! The kids and I went to the pool and had a nice time!
4. Nachos...from Taco Bueno...my favorite...yummy!
5. Early Bed Times!...The kids and I are exhausted and heading to bed early!

Top 5 Today...
1. Good news...Dan made it safely to his adventure this weekend and should be good for the rest of the weekend. We will miss him but he needed to go and that's cool so we will welcome him home on Monday!
2. Volleyball...practice tonight...we had 12 people there and so we got in some good playing.! As usual I laughed a lot!
3. 5 days of school left!
4. Jaron's asthma was acting up today but an inhaler treatment and some rest made him feel much better. Praise God for modern medicine!
5. Gorgeous blue skies...we've gone almost a full week with no rain!

Top 5 tonight!
Here are my top 5 reasons that I enjoy playing Sand Volleyball with my church friends!
1. We laugh a lot...we aren't really that good but we make up for it by laughing at how bad we are! Some of our shots are so bad its hysterical!
2. My kids play outside and have fun too...the church we play at on Monday nights has a playground right next to the volleyball court...the kids play on the playground...I get to play with the ball.
3. Stress relief...there is something so wonderful about hitting a ball that it makes me feel so good. Plus the endorphins get going and I feel really good!
4. Exfoliation...playing in sand is a great exfoliater! It's awesome!
5. Have I mentioned that I enjoy hitting something???? This honestly is the greatest thing for me!~
