We went camping with Grandma and Grandpa!

So we went camping this month with my mom and dad. Every year they spend a week at their favorite fishing spot. So this year both kids got to go fishing for the first time. We had a lot of fun.

Breeding Hamsters

This is a dwarf hamster. I brought four home early June and we are now up to at least 9!!!!!!!!!!!


So we have the hamsters from my classroom and this past week they have had babies. I got two mamas and at least 5 babies! We are now up to 3 cages!!!! I don't have room for all these lovely creatures! They are really creepy looking too when they are new born. They have no hair and they are really ugly!!!! I think that we are not looking at any more litters from one mama but the other mama could get pregnant again very easily! Not sure if we have room for any more babies! If they keep mating I am going to need to have some new homes for them--if you are interested let me know!

Mommy...Help!!!!

So I go running to the bathroom where my darling son is sitting on the potty thinking there has been a problem or he needs some assistance in some way. I find him standing next to the toilet freaking out because there are three little drops of melted popiscle on the floor. SO I whip out the toilet paper and TADADA!!!! SUPERMOM TO THE RESCUE!!! I clean up the mess and make it all better! I hate it when things like that happen!

So the other child today makes a water balloon and then pops it all over my couch! Its a good thing I like kids because its times like these that I get just a little bit stressed!

My BABY isn't a BABY anymore..

Okay, she hasn't been a baby for a long time but still, I can't believe how old she is now! She turned 7 on Friday!!!! That's almost two full hands, soon she'll be double digits, then a teenager, then married, then I'll be a grandma! auuughh!!! I can't handle it! Okay, now that I'm done freaking out and marrying her off, I can be okay again.

For Janeas birthday this year we went out on the town. I took her and two friend to see Surf's Up and I saw roughly 1/2 of the movie since Jaron came too. He was not interested in the movie so we spent a lot of time in the bathroom, playing video games in the lobby and just frustrating Mom. The part I saw very cute! Then we went to McDonalds and had Happy Meals and played in the new R GYM (playplace). All in all a pretty good day since we then went to Grandma's and Grandpa's for cake and dinner! I do have pictures but since I didn't bring a CD I can't get them off my MOM's computer--I so need a digital camera! Dan if you are reading this that is what I want for Christmas--or our anniversary:) HINT HINT HINT!!!

Time for MOM!!!

Sometimes I feel like there is never any time for me! Not that I am being selfish, don't get me wrong, I love my kids, I love my husband but it seems to me that they get all the time in the world and get to do so much of what they want to do whereas I am stuck making sure we all have clean clothes, clean dishes and food to eat! So tonight after I got the kids to bed I made sure to do something for me! So I ate ice cream and took a bath(not at the same time). As I was in the tub it dawned on me that I hadn't taken a bath in over 2 years! I think I am going to have to take them a little bit more frequently. When I was pregnant it was a great way to relax but now that my kids are grown more it has been more of a hassle. Well tonight I broke out the Lavender bath salts and just soaked! It certainly was a good way to relax after a long day.

Jaron has no fear!

There is such a difference in my kids. Jaron is all boy and loves to climb and make trouble. Janea is reading over my shoulder as I write this and so I am not sure just how to describe her. I would say that she can be a handful at times! We went shopping for summer clothes today and I think she made some good choices but it was pulling teeth to get us to agree on what is age appropriate! I hate it that little girl clothes are becoming more and more adult! Now I know how my mom felt me when I was causing trouble for her! Sorry mom.

I am so thankful for great parks and the opportunity to spend time outside!

Gotta love it...

Okay here's the deal, our shower tiles have been busted and today we have the plumber here to fix it! YEAH!! Bad news the fumes from the tile stuff the plumber is using is making my head hurt! It really stinks right now. So the good news is the shower will be fixed and the bad news is my house is making my head hurt.

All this week since school is out we have had inservice time and cleaning time. Well, I did a lot of meeting with people and no cleaning! AAAUUGGHH! it never seems to end! And I couldn't go to school today since the plumber was here. I am going to be writing a website for my class for next year, and we are looking for a relatively inexpensive hosting site since I work at a really small private school and we don't have a ton of money! So I have spent three days on the computer at school trying to find information. It's been good but I am ready to have some time off!

On a sad note, this is Jaron's last day at his babysitter's house. Miss Charity has been a great caregiver and we are going to miss her so much! I love her and all the time she has invested in my special little boy! THANKS CHARITY!
